Edward Henry Bair, Jr. was born on April 9, 1895 in Pennsylvania. He was the son of Edward Henry Bair and Esther Suydam Bair. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private First Class in the 110th Infantry Regiment, 28th Division. He died on July 30, 1918 in France at the age of 23 and is now buried in Saint Clair Cemetery, Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, USA.
