When Edward H. McNulty was born in September 1898 in St Louis, Missouri, his father, Austin, was 33 and his mother, Mary, was 32. He had four brothers and four sisters. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private in Company K, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on March 1, 1918 and is now buried in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Lemay, St. Louis County, Missouri, USA.
