DOAN, FRANK FLAVIAN

Son of Millard C. and Mina J. Doan; born February 5, 1898, Odon, Daviess County, Ind. Farmer. Entered service September 19, 1917, Washington, Ind. Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky.; assigned to 33rd Company, 9th Battalion, 159th Depot Brigade. Transferred to Camp Shelby, Miss. Overseas in June, 1918; assigned to Company F, 28th Infantry, 1st Division. Fought at Soissons, Chateau-Thierry, and St. Mihiel. Killed in action September 12, 1918. Buried in St. Mihiel American Cemetery.
Note: He should be in the 26th Infantry Regiment.
