When Albin Albert Albrecht was born on January 15, 1896, in Buffalo, New York, his father, Franciszek, was 32 and his mother, J�zefa, was 35. He had four brothers and three sisters. He served in the U.S. Army during World War I as a Private First Class in Company B, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on October 12, 1918 and is now buried in Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial, Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, Departement de la Meuse, Lorraine, France.
