When Benjamin J Churco was born in 1893 in Brandon, New York, his father, Henry, was 28 and his mother, Priscilla, was 25. He married Linne "Lin" Rhode (Churco, Kronauer) on July 18, 1917, in El Paso, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in Company , Headquarters Troop, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 18, 1918 and is now buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et- Nesles, France. He also has a marker in Saint Alphonsus Cemetery, Tupper Lake, Franklin County, New York, USA.
