When Wesley Cambern Predmore was born on December 13, 1891, in McCook, Nebraska, his father, Richard, was 25 and his mother, Mary, was 18. He had three brothers and one sister. He entered the military service in California and served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in Company D, 2nd Machine Gun Battalion, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on July 18, 1918 and is now buried in Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et- Nesles, France. He also has a cenotaph in Minidoka Acequia Rupert Cemetery, Rupert, Minidoka County, Idaho, USA.
