This monument is located along a bike path that follows the Sauer River and can be found about 30m north of a pedestrian bridge in a small clearing.
Monument The monument itself is constructed of stone in a diamond shape with a metal plaque at its base commemorating the liberation of Weilerbach by the 5th Infantry Division. This stone monument is on top of a star-shaped cement base with a small plaque in the foreground.

The text found on the first plaque reads:
"IN HONOR OF THE 5TH U.S. INFANTRY DIVISION
WHICH CROSSED THE SAUER RIVER HERE ON FEBRUARY 7 1945 UNDER HEAVY ENEMY FIRE AND ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS. THEIR SACRIFICES HELPED TO BRING FREEDOM AGAIN TO OUR COUNTRY .
WE SHALL REMEMBER."
The text on the second plaque reads:
"THIS MEMORIAL HAS BEEN ERECTED BY DONATIONS FROM U.S. VETERANS AND BY LUXEMBOURGISH CITIZENS"
