This monument can be found in the direct center of a tiled clearing off of Lisseneck street, in a small garden area.
Monument
The monument itself is large stone, about 3 ft. (.9m) in height, with a red diamond shaped plaque commemorating the 5th U.S. Infantry division in the liberation of the village Hoscheid. Just at its base is another metal plaque commemorating the 38 fallen soldiers of the 5th Infantry Division who gave their lives in the liberation of Hoscheid.

Text on the red diamond plaque reads:
"IN GRATITUDE TO THE VALIANT SOLDIERS OF THE 5TH U.S. INFANTRY DIVISION WHO LIBERATED HOSCHEID JAN. 23.1945 ENDING THE NAZI OPPRESSION OF THIS AREA"
Text on the lower plaque reads:
"5th INFANTRY DIVISION
SQUARE
LIBERATIOUNSPLAAZ
DEDICATED TO THE 38 YOUNG AMERICAN SOLDIERS WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THE LIBERATION OF THE HOSCHEID AREA.
WE SHALL ALWAYS REMEMBER
JAN., 24th, 1999 US VETERANS FRIENDS LUXEMBOURG AND COMMUNE DE HOSCHEID"
