Pennsylvania American Memorial Fountain
Details:
The fountain is located on the southwestern side of the Rue du Gai/ Route de Brieulles intersection facing toward the town. It is built into a wall in a small hillside Monument The white stone fountain is built into a red brick wall. It features the state seal of Pennsylvania as well as engraved text in English. The memorial was at one time a working fountain used to supply water to residents of the town, however the fountain is currently inactive. The fountain is dedicated to the 80th Division, American Expeditionary Forces, which served in the area during WWI. The memorial was placed at the site by the State of Pennsylvania.
