At the entrance of La Fiere, just to the side of the parking lot on the grass. Monument The memorial is a 1 meter tall stone monument with a black granite plaque with gold leaf text.
The plaque commemorates the site, as a whole, to the paratroopers who landed there during the Normandy Invasion in 1944.
