Located on the south end of the bridge.  Monument


The monument is a white stele monument containing 3 plexiglass plaques with inscriptions and red diamonds painted on each side. The stele is one of 28 monuments erected by the 5th U.S. division immediately after WWI and located at all of their WWI battlefield sites.

This monument, in particular, commemorates the crossing of the bridge, built by the 7th U.S. Engineers, by the 9th Infantry Brigade. It also commemorates commanding General J.C. Castner and members of the 60th U.S. Infantry Regiment, who liberated the city of Cléry-le-Petit.
