Maison Rouge Memorial

Located at the southwest corner of the house.
Monument
The memorial is a B-17 bomber propeller mounted on a field stone base. On the base, there is a metal plaque honoring the R.A.F., the Luftwaffe, and the U.S. Air Force, respectively. To the left of the memorial, there is a white plexiglass plaque honoring the R.A.F. To the right of the memorial, there is a rusted metal plaque honoring the Luftwaffe. This plaque is placed on top of a section of railroad track that was used for transport at the airbase there. This memorial, in particular, commemorates the former headquarters of aviation 120 Ha land used by these three units located at Maison Rouge.
