Memorial Museum of the Colmar Pocket Combats

Details:

The museum is located in a residential area on the right side of the road when heading south from the Rue de Vignerons. It is accessible through a gated courtyard. 
Museum The museum features a number of artifacts related to the fighting which took place around the area in August-September 1944. Artifacts related to both military and civilian life in the area are displayed throughout two showrooms comprising approximately 250 m2 of space. Exhibit information is presented in French, English, and German. The museum was founded by the non-profit "Souvenirs et Respect des Combats pour la Liberté - Poche de Colmar - Hiver 44/45" and inaugurated on November 11, 1993.
