The Isolated Burial of Private William Round who died while serving in B Company, 1st Battalion of the Manchester Regiment in Iraq during World War 1. The Manchester Regiment took part in the Battle of Dujaila in March 1916 and the attempted relief of the Ottoman Siege of Kut. Private Round was born in the UK and immigrated to the US. He was the son of Benjamin and Edith M. Round, of 8, Brown's Place, Pittsburg, Pa., U.S.A.
