MonumentA colored engraved plaque attached to a local red fieldstone.
The memorial remembers two soldiers to the 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division who were awarded the Medal of Honor for their actions during the liberation of the town of Houssen in January 1945.

Décorés de la médaille d'honneur pour courage exceptionnel et pour avoir risqué leur vie avec intrépidité, et au-delà du devoir, lors de la libération de Houssen par la 3RD US Infantry Division les 24 et 25 janvier 1945.
Received the medal of honor for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at risk of life beyond the call of duty during the liberation of Houssen by the 3rd US Infantry Division on 24 and 25 january 1945.
