Commemorative ObjectA sculpture made of stone.
The scupture commemorates the American Aviators who were killed in action on August 29, 1944 during Mission 263 in what is know as the 'Air Battle over the White Carpathians'. It repressnts the connection between the human and the aircraft.
The sculptor was Jaroslav Koléek and was dedicated in 2002.
