A life-size bronze sculpture commemorating the site where Major General Edward P. King Jr. finally surrendered the USAFFE forces composed of Filipino and American soldiers, to the Japanese on April 9, 1942, during World War II. It also recreates the emotional moment of surrender—one soldier is depicted with his face in his hands, symbolizing despair and heartbreak.
