Marker

A brass inscribed plaque attached to a concrete base; a brass "Flying P-51" sculpture stands next to the plaque about 7 feet tall.

The memorial remembers Captain Raymond A. Alfred of the 336th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group who crashed here on April 16, 1945 in his P-51 (44-72523)  after being hit by flak attacking airfields around Prague.
