A memorial marker with a rectangular black plaque mounted on a marble pedestal honoring the site where Manuel Roxas, an advocate of Philippine-American friendship and the first President of the Republic of the Philippines, passed away on April 15, 1948, at the then-residence of the Commanding General of the United States 13th Air Force. The plaque bears the seal of the National Historical Institute of the Philippines.
