Plaque

A rectangular black granite plaque mounted on a white stone base honoring Colonel John Miller Stotsenberg, a distinguished military leader from the Philippine-American War who was killed in action on April 23, 1899, during the Battle of Quingua (modern-day Plaridel) in Bulacan. The park commemorating his legacy was completed in October 2003.

WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION WHILE LEADING HIS

REGIMENT NEAR QUINGUA (NOW PLARIDEL),

BULACAN ON APRIL 23, 1899
