In the Cour d'honneur des combattants near the building parking lot. Commemorative Object


A painted concrete wall about 5 feet high.

The mural remembers the March 1945 liberation of the town by the 70th Infantry Division.


Monument Text:

  The American Flag on the left, French on the right.  Image of American and French soldiers in US Jeeps.


The inscription across the top reads in French:

"Il etait une fois ne mars 1945, noublions pas"
