General Douglas MacArthur Statue - Inchon Landings

In the center of the park across overlooking the Inchon landings sites. Statue
A bronze statue that sites in a concrete base; several brass relief plaques are attached to the wall around the statue.
The statue is of General Douglas MacArthur who commanded the Inchon Landings (Operation Chromite) which occurred nearby in September 1950.
The plaques include the "Lone Sailor" Plaque, to the right of General MacArthur's statue; placed June 22, 2000, in honor of all U.S. Navy personnel who served in the Korean War, along with other U.S Armed Forces personnel, the Republic of Korea, and 21 other countries united under the flag of the United Nations.
"MacArthur's Coming Ashore" large plaque on rear wall depicting MacArthur and other Soldiers wading through water coming ashore.
