Monument

The monument consists of a solid stone pedestal, which supports a sculpture at the top. The sculpture appears to capture a dynamic, possibly abstract figure, symbolizing the bravery and resilience of soldiers like 1Lt. Harding. Affixed to the front of the stone pedestal is a metal plaque, which provides an inscription detailing the significance of Lt. Harding's role and his connection to the events that unfolded in the region. It is written in French and English in engraved lettering.
