On the west side of the intersection. The plaque is placed on the ground on the left side of the town war memorial.

A square black plaque honoring the American soldiers who died during World War I, specifically in the years 1917 and 1918. The plaque is written in English and French in gold lettering. Printed on the top of the plaque are the flags of the United States of America and France. These soldiers are buried in Carbon-Blanc, and the plaque was established with the support of the Diplomatic Mission of the United States and the city of Carbon-Blanc.
