A brown information metal street sign.
The sign marks the location of Ramitelli Airfield where the 332nd Fighter Group, the famed Tuskegee Airmen, were stationed during World War 2.
The 332nd Fighter Group, consisting off the 99th, 100th, 301st and 302nd Fighter Squadrons, the "Red Tails", were an African-American unit which flew missions supporting the 15th Air Force from May 1944 to May 1945.
