Plaque
A small rectangular bronze plaque that contains a commemoration message for Sgt Charles R. Perry. The inscription is written in French in raised lettering. On August 1, 1944, seventy-eight US B-17s escorted by P-38s parachuted 899 containers of weapons and ammunition for the Resistance. US Marine Corps Instructor Sergeant Charles R. Perry parachuted to join the Resistance. He was killed when his parachute failed to open.
