A standard upright white marble military gravestone and a private family inscribed grave stone.
The memorial remembers Lance Corporal Peter 'Petie' Nee who served with H Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division, III Marine Amphibious Force, in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam. On March 31, 1969, L/Cpl Nee was killed in action.
L/Corporal Nee was born in Ireland, immigrated to the US, (Boston, Massachusetts) and enlisted in the US Marine Corps.
He is listed on the Vietnam War Memorial Panel 28W, line 99 of the wall.
