Between the village of Foy and the Easy Company Monument; in the woods just off the road. Museum
Between Dec 1944 and Jan 1945, the Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, occupied the woods and dug foxholes to protect themselves against hostile artillery. Traces of the battle of Foy are still visible in these wood, foxholes and cavities dug into the ground remain.
