Details:
To the right of the sculpture monument.
A rectangular stone monument with a curved top containing a commemoration message that is written in French and English in gold and engraved lettering. On the top of the message are engraved insignias of the 101st Airborne Division and US Army Pathfinder. The stele was inaugurated on June 5, 2017, on the initiative of the town's festival committee. The pathfinders were the first to jump in the airborne operation of D-Day on June 6, 1944, in order to scout out and establish areas that were used to land paratroopers and aircraft into enemy territory.
