Corporal Bartholomew Galvin from Annascaul, Kerry County, Ireland. He was Killed in Action at Changnyong, South Korea (Pusan Perimeter) during the Korean War on September 1, 1950. Galvin  enlisted in the 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division and was from Weymouth, Massachusetts. He is buried in Annascaul in the Aglish Burial Ground in Ireland.
