A standard upright US Military white inscribed gravestone and a private gravestone.

 

Private First Class William “Billy” Scully served with the 31st Infantry Regiment “The Polar Bears”, 7thInfantry Division in Korea.  He was killed by a sniper on January 14, 1951.

 

He was from Galbally, County Limerick.  He lived  in Manhasset, Long Island, NY for a year when he joined the Army. He was in Korea just a few weeks when he was killed.
