Details:
On the south side of the churchyard and on the right-hand side next to the stone monument war memorial.
A square metal plaque on top of a stone base that is set on the ground. The plaque is inscribed in English in yellow lettering. A medical symbol is printed on the top of the plaque while the 8th Air Force insignia is on the bottom. The plaque commemorates the crew of the B-24 #42-95238 who died in a crash at the grounds of St. Mary’s Hospital during a training mission in August 1944.
