A standard Commonwealth Grave Commission (CWGC) inscribed gravestone.
Born on July 20, 1919 in Wisconsin. Joined the British RAF and served with the 133rd Eagle Squadron. Died in a mid-air collision in P8438 with P/O Wilbert A Arends in P8595 near Epworth, Lincolnshire baled out but did not survive. It appears that P/O Whedon landed safely then collapsed and died on the ground. Killed in Action
