Grignan Liberation Plaque
Details:
On the east side of the road. The plaque is affixed on a large free-standing concrete stele.
A blue rectangular
plaque with white border, inscribed in French and English text which
commemorates the 3rd US Infantry Division for liberating Grignan in
World War II. Printed in colors on the top of the plaque are the 3rd
Infantry Division unit crest, US flag, and the 3rd Infantry
Division’s insignia which then followed by the commemoration message.
