Charles J.J. Goffin

Monument is located 30m southeast of Enelter Kapell about 1km to the north of Reckange. Monument Stone monument with bronze plaque with Luxembourgish text dedicated to the victims of war from Reckange. Along with several local citizens Charles J.J. Goffin is also listed. Pilot First Lieutenant Charles Goffin was killed in action on September 8, 1944. While Goffin was from Belgium, at the time of his death he was flying for the US Army Air Force. Goffin was assigned to the 14th Photo Squadron, 7th Reconnaissance Group.
