1st Armored Division (4th Tank Battalion) Memorial Park
Details:
The information sign is by the foot entrance to the children’s park.
A metal sign attached to a pole about 6 feet high; the sign is about 3x3 feet.
The plaque remembers three US soldiers of the 1st Armored Division who were killed while liberating the community of Cadelbosco di Sopra. The three soldiers served in the 4th Tank Battalion, Combat Command B of the 1st Armored Division.
The soldiers included:
1st Lieutenant Edward Golden
Private John A. Hanlon
Private Alvin Bershad
