Borne of the Voie de la Liberte Perlé
Details:
On the left side, in front of the museum’s entrance, next to the jeep display. The memorial is a borne taken from the Voie de la Liberté (Liberty Road), a series of identical markers which commemorate the 1,146 km route taken by Allied forces during WWII from Sainte-Mère-Église, France to Bastogne, Belgium.
