Liberation Borne - 26th Infantry Division

Details:

On the southwest side of the road. Marker

A five pointed white cobblestone star on which is mounted a borne from the Voie de la Liberte. The insignia of the 3rd US Army is in front of the borne, which is concrete and painted. There is a bronze plaque on a concrete pad on the ground in front of the star contains Luxembourgish text. The town's name is written on each side of the borne.

The memorial was upgraded and rededicated in 2010 hosted by the Friends of Patton's 26th Infantry Division (FPYD- Luxembourg).
