War Museum (Museo) Gothic Line - Castel del Rio

Located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the castle. Museum
A museum that includes displays primarily dedicated to the Second World War in this area. The museum also includes displays to the First World War and the reuse of war materials in post-war Italy. The well-curated museum’s Second World War displays focus on the actions of the US 88th “Blue Devils” Infantry Division operations. Special displays on the Battle for Monte Battaglia and a large 3-dimension relief map which lays out the battle along the Gothic Line.
The staff speaks English and conduct tours of the local battlefields to include Monte Battaglia.
