General Dwight D Eisenhower Memorial- Wiltz
Details:
On the west side (opposite side of the Castle) of Rue du Château on the in a garden (Eisenhower Square) across the street from the 28th Infantry Division monument.
The monument includes three pieces: a canon; a large upright stone (about 7 ft high) with a brass bust of Eisenhower; and a shortly stone with text placed across the face.
The monument remembers the visit of General Dwight D Eisenhower immediately after the liberation of the town of Wiltz.
