Patton Museum

On the west side of the road. Museum The museum was dedicated to General George S. Patton, Jr. He was the Commander of the Third U.S. Army during World War II, whose troops liberated the city of Ettelbruck on December 25, 1944. More than 1,000 various photographs, documents and authentic objects illustrate the German invasion, repression and persecution, and the liberation of Luxembourg in September 1944. The exhibition also presents the biography of General Patton and military archeology on the battlefield of the Ardennes and the aerial war over Luxembourg. The General Patton Museum was inaugurated in 1995.
