Museum of Military History
Details:
Three displays containing pieces of US military history are located on the first floor of the museum. Museum The Museum of Military history is a two story museum containing information on the long history of the Austrian military. There are three displays specific to Austrian involvement with the United States: 1) a World War 1 display of a US uniform and equipment, as the Austro-Hungarian Army opposed the US Army’s 332nd Regiment in Italy; 2) a display containing B-17 bomber artifacts form the bombing raids Austria endured during World War 2; and, 3) Post World War 2 occupation display of US forces.
