The Winter Line museum, opened in 2007, depicts military operations along the Winter (also known as the Gustav Line) and Bernard lines in 1943-44 in the hard fought Italian campaign. The museum is located in the town of Venafro, which during the war was an allied logistic hub to support military operations against the German defenses along the Winter and Bernard lines.
