A blue metal plaque honoring 2LT Robert Simpson who was killed near near when his fighter was shot down. The plaque contains his photo, French and US flags, the insignia of hte 48th Fighter Squadron, the 14th Fighter Group, and hte 15th US Army Air Force as well as his medals and a mix of French and English text.
