30th Infantry Division Plaque

The 30th Infantry Division plaque is located on the north end of the wall that holds Stavelot's war memorial as well as other associated monuments and plaques. This particular plaque is located between the glass plaque dedicated to the liberators of Stavelot and the bronze plaque dedicated to the mayor and citizens of Stavelot. Plaque This gray stone plaque features an inscription in gold lettering that commemorates the achievements of the 30th Infantry Division and its 117th Regiment during combat in and around Stavelot. At the top-center of the plaque there is a small representation of the 30th Infantry Division's insignia. In the bottom left corner of the plaque, there is the abbreviated name of the Centre de Recherches et d'Informations sur la Bataille des Ardennes (Center for Research and Information on the Battle of the Ardennes), or C.R.I.B.A.
