Marshall statue
Details:
At the front gate of Sheridan Kaserne, where the Marshall Center is located. Statue A bronze statue on a stone base of General George C. Marshall walking over a bridge to the east. Sculpted by Christiana Horn of Wartenburg, Bavaria, it was dedicated on 30 April 1998. It is said to be the first known public statue of Marshall in Europe. It was jointly sponsored by the George C. Marshall Center, the private organization called the Friends of the Marshall Center, and the City of Garmisch.
