On a trail 350 meters from Clairs Chenes woods, on the roadside between Cunel & Clery. Marker A concrete marker with a bronze plaque, honoring Captain Charles D. Harris and the exploits that led to his death and Distinguished Service Cross. Text in English and French.
Monument Text:
With a small detachment in advance of his company, Captain Harris captured two German machine guns and three prisoners in the trench within the enclosure 20 m to the south of this spot.
