Monuments Man -Dean Keller Memorial

This memorial is on the floor of the roofed area in the Campo Santo.  Plaque


The memorial is a white marble floor plaque, surrounded by black marble. It is headed with the name of Deane Keller. 

Keller served as one of the United State's 5th Army's Monuments Fine Arts and Archives (MFAA)  officers during WWII. Keller was part of the MFAA team that returned museum treasures to the city of Florentine. Additionally, he saved 14th and 15th century frescoes in the Campo Santo that were getting damaged by fires.
