A monument marking the site of fierce combat of the 371st Infantry Regiment, located near where Corporal Freddie Stowers was awarded the Medal of Honor. Trenches are still visible at the site.

To find the monument, go to the town of Séchault in France. On the western edge of the village of Séchault at the intersection of paved roads D6 and D982 is located a monument to the Harlem Hellfighters. Directions to the 371st Regiment Monument begin at this point and are as follows: The 371st monument is just barely visible on the crest of the hill to the west at a distance of about 2 kilometers. To visit the monument, drive west on D6 in the direction of Ardeuil. After about 1200 meters, turn left (southwest) on the small paved road, and drive about 900 meters up the road to a gate on the right. Enter at the gate and walk uphill to the monument. The monument is located near the point where Freddie Stowers won the Medal of Honor, and the trenches are still visible.
