The village hall has a memorial to the US airmen who lost their lives in a B-17 Flying Fortress accident on 23rd December 1944.

The village hall is situated on the northern end of the village. It is opposite the High Street and Hill Rise junction and is very near the High Street and Hook Norton Road intersection. The memorial site is near where the aircraft crashed.
